College Basketball Handicapping – Analysis Of A Winning Wager And Coaching Mismatch

I write up at least 25 games per week for clients and various sports sites. Below is a brief analysis and write-up members received of our 20* Top Play Big Bertha winner on SMU in the Mustangs 73-59 win over Memphis. The Mustangs led by double-digits at halftime and built a 20-point lead in the second half while shooting 52% and dominating the boards in their trouncing of the Tigers.

In no sport does coaching have a greater impact than college basketball.  I’ll have more on this in the future, but college basketball also offers the best and greatest opportunity to beat the bookmaker on a daily basis.  With 350 teams to evaluate and post betting lines every day, the line maker is more at risk to the bettor and handicapper who does his home work and understands more than just betting lines, power ratings and stat profiles. Situational handicapping and coaching are just a few other ways to evaluate basketball games and put some edges in your favor if you have a solid understanding of the game and all the shots in your bag to win over the long haul.

Such is the case again this season as we have continue to produce more winners and profit on high-volume plays.  Plenty of top plays and also a guarantee offer daily for a most nominal fee if you prefer to wager on just 3 games per day.  If you don’t have the time, energy or ability to proficiently evaluate the games and produce profit, join me for more victories and value and we’ll win together!

Best wishes as you shoot for more birdies and green on the hardwood

 Memphis at SMU

First road game of the season for Memphis, who has lost all three of their step-up games this season by at least 15 points to Oklahoma State, Baylor and Wichita State.  They get another tough team here in SMU, and this is a coaching mismatch of monumental proportions with Larry Brown vs. Josh Pastner.  SMU’s defense, which ranks top-20 in adjusted efficiency against a stronger schedule, will be the difference against a very inefficient Tigers offense that has one of the worst turnover rates in the country.  These are the top-2 rebounding teams in the AAC, but the Tigers have a key reserve suspended for this game in Iverson.  The return of power forward Markus Kennedy four games ago following early-season suspension gives the Mustangs additional strength inside and SMU is shooting 52% inside the arch to rank top-35 in the country.  Memphis likes to push the pace, but SMU’s defense forces teams to play in the half court and we can expect more turnovers and poor execution from a poorly-coached Tigers team.  SMU is 21-2 L2 years at home, and will be hungry following a rare home loss last game vs. Cincinnati.  Larry Brown is one of the great teachers and coaches in basketball, and he’ll take Pastner to school again as the Ponies bounce back big against the Tigers.
